Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had at a car place. I dropped my car off for my nc car inspection at 9am, came back at 1030. They hadn’t started working on it til 11 and wasn’t ready to leave til 1150. Almost 3 hrs for a car inspection is a joke. No respect for their customers’ time. Edward Prange was extremely rude and disrespectful. When asked about an update on the status, answered and quoted another 45 minutes and told me “I could go get him a smoothie.” Went to use the restroom and there was no soap, which can happen. But when I informed him of this, he shrugged his shoulders like it wasn’t his problem and rolled his eyes, then made no effort to correct the problem. I’m absolutely never going back there again. Zach was very nice, but the overall experience was horrible. It would have been very convenient, because I go to the gym next door, but no thanks, not worth it.

Lisa, we're truly sorry to hear about your recent experience at our car place. We apologize for the extended wait time and the apparent lack of respect shown by our staff member. It's disappointing to hear that we didn't meet your expectations and failed to provide the level of service you deserved. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our operations moving forward.

I used Woodies because it was super close to where I live which made it convenient. However, they are pricey compared to other services in the area, even for the most basic services like oil changes and brakes. Speaking of brakes, I took my Camry in for a brakes that were squealing. I was told I needed pads and rotors which ran me close to $1000. I have since had to take my car back to them 3 times to repair the same squeal. Can't see myself going back again except for an state inspection. And BTW, their state inspection tech must only work 3 days out out of the week, so hopefully you pick a day when he is there.

Thank you for sharing your experience, Skribe. We strive to provide competitive pricing and efficient service. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. We'd like to make it right. Please reach out to us at your convenience, so we can address your concerns and improve your perception of our business.

Some of the BEST customer I’ve ever experienced period. Like, wow. I felt safe, welcomed, and they genuinely cared my vehicle and me as a customer too! They provided snacks and a incredibly comfy waiting area. Three different staff members checked in on me while I was waiting. Once my inspection was done, someone came to give me a full report on my car. It was upselling I’m sure, but I appreciate the non-aggressive way they did it. They genuinely were recommending products and services that I actually needed! I plan to visit Woodie’s for all of my car services moving forward. Simply amazing.

I was not impressed with the over pricing of the parts that were going to be required to complete the fuel pump installation!Beware of this place! I actually took my vehicle to The Chevrolet dealership just down the road and saved 400 dollars!!

We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. Customer satisfaction is our priority, and we strive to provide fair pricing for our services. If you have any further concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Three week update: I was able to take my vehicle to a competent technician and have all of the damage that woodies did to my vehicle repaired. Where to begin…. Upon diagnosis from a competent technician I was informed that my passenger side rear wheel bearing was never replaced. Woodies charged me for replacing two bearings, which they did not. Which is (as of the last time I checked) fraudulent business. Additionally the seal that began leaking started to leak because it was improperly installed (picture shown below). Woodies left over a 1/8” gap between the seal and the axle housing on both sides of my vehicle. There should be no gap hence the leak. Additionally I was informed that woodies sealed my differential improperly which resulted in the leak around the differential. My final note being this, woodies took 3 weeks to “repair” my vehicle during which they lied to me as well as damaged my vehicle, they never returned my call or responded to this review. Which shows me they truly do not have any interest in making this right and have no problem with taking advantage of customers. I would also like to note that the job woodies spent 3 weeks on took a competent technician 4 hours to do. Two week update: Since picking up my truck two weeks ago, the drivers side seal that was installed by woodies has failed causing a massive gear oil leak, additionally the “seal” that was installed on the differential has completely failed around 3 bolts. Photos below. In summary, they had my vehicle for over three weeks for a 5 hour repair, tried to use the wrong parts, couldn’t give me a clear timeline of the works completion and were just generally incompetent as far as the repair goes. I will start this review by saying all of the service advisors are very nice guys. Zach had no problem hopping in the car with me to confirm the issue I was having, and Ed did an awesome job of keeping me updated with what was going on with my vehicle. The price they quoted for the work on my vehicle was very reasonable and they were able to get me in pretty quickly so I had no hesitation about dropping my vehicle off with them. That said this was the worst automotive experience I’ve ever had and I hope that no one I know or care about ever uses this location or woodies in general for anything related to their vehicle. I dropped my truck off on July 20th. I was informed that the parts and tools needed to complete the job were delivered to the shop on August 2nd. The two weeks waiting on the parts weren’t ideal but that’s the state of things in 2022 and I have no issues with that. My nightmare experience occurred after parts were delivered. I was told the work on my vehicle would be completed on August 4th, it wasn’t. Then I was told it would be completed on August 5th, it wasn’t. Then I was told August 8th, and it wasn’t. I stopped by the shop on the morning of August 9th to see if they were actually working on my vehicle because they kept saying they had issues. They most certainly were having issues, because I immediately noticed that they were attempting to use completely wrong parts for my vehicle (photo attached) and I lost another day waiting on them to get the correct parts from the manufacturer that would fit and not a sub par aftermarket piece of junk. All told my truck was at their location for over three weeks for a repair that the manufacturer of my vehicle lists as a 5 hour job. After picking it up and getting it home it was leaking differential fluid from improper gasket installation, and my antilock brake system wiring harness was not reinstalled (see photo). The incompetence that I experienced at this shop is on a scale that I have never seen. I have absolutely zero faith in any of the work they did and I hope that this review keeps someone from going through what I went through with Woodies.
