Visited Woodie's this morning , I was pleased through and through with the time they spent to explain their findings after an inspection. This actually even felt differently than anywhere else I've been. 100% satisfied !!!

Check engine light and VSC light were both on. I had this issue previously with a different repair company and was diagnosed faulty gas cap. For 8 months I would tighten the gas cap and the problem would resolve itself. Until one day when the lights just stayed on. I changed the gas cap (purchased from dealer) but the lights just stayed on. So I took it to Woodies thinking they would just reset the codes. I agreed to pay the 140 fee to diagnose. The diagnosis was again a faulty gas cap. I explained the cap had just been changed 1 week ago from a dealer! He insisted it was still the cap and would cost 279.00 to replace the cap including the agreed 140. I paid the agreed amount 140.00. The light remained on. The next day I would drive to Chicago for a planned trip. I took my car to my mechanic in Chicago who simply reset the codes for no charge. I have driven my car since being reset and with several tanks of gas refills and the light remains off. I would have expected Woodies to just reset the codes after finding out the cap was already changed. I guess I just need to drive to Chicago from Charlotte to get good customer service.

The employees at this location are absolutely excellent. I unfortunately had a flat tire that had just been repaired, I showed up with out an appointment. They were incredibly helpful, went out of their way to show me the problem. They brought me in the back, were honest, kind, and went above and beyond. I believe the girl at the front desk was named Aliyah, she was incredible! She even helped me with the company that messed up my tire write up a report so I could get another tire free of charge. There was no charge for my services, even though they pumped my tire up to return to the previous location, wrote a report, took pictures, spent a very long time with me. Seriously excellent!!

Just went for state inspection and oil change. What I didn't expect was a drop n pick up service they provided ... Got everything done as required and gave a complimentary 28 point check service for being a new customer.. they don't do body works or window tints as far as I know.. thank you for the service.

Sadly I felt very scammed by this place. Idk if that’s their goal or because I’m a woman.. felt like it. Also, was told inspection would be about 30 mins… ended up being 1.5 hours. So I went in for an inspection knowing I needed new tires in order to pass, but I tried an inspection anyways just to see if I could pass. I was the first customer there. I waited and waited. Finally they tell me I failed because I needed new inner and outer tires rods. They quoted me about $2k and expected me back. I decided to go straight to Mazda to see what their prices would be for those parts and labor. They were surprised that I was told I needed it. They said that those are parts that are normally only replaced after an accident due to the damage. So they did the inspection for me and told me all I needed was 2 new tires (which I knew it was time for that) so point being said, I don’t trust them.

I took my car in for a 60K service visit, which was fine except for the fact that they charged me for an inspection but didn't do the work, which I found out when I tried to renew. Not a big deal, and they offered to do the work at my convenience. I brought the car in at the scheduled day/time; I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes and noticed my car was still in the parking lot (they said they would turn it around in 30 minutes). When I went to the front counter, they said the mechanic who did the original work had to be the one to do the inspection, and he wasn't in that day. I think they did good work on my car, but the fact that they wasted my time like that means I'll be taking my business elsewhere. They get five stars for the work they did, one star for screwing me over.
