Beating a dead horse with this comment, but highly recommend asking for Daniel. Obviously mechanics are known for finding creative ways to add $ to your bill (this actually happened to me at a different woodies location). This is NOT how Daniel does business based on my experience (see below) 3 days before a planned 7 hr road trip to Florida, I brought my car in for tire replacement and inspection, which showed a severe grease leak from torn front right axle boot. I’m not well versed / educated in car repairs, so at first I assumed BS, but my extensive research proved it was serious. Daniel told me driving it down wouldn’t be dangerous but that doing so could cause damage to 2 other parts adding $800+ to the bill. I still wanted to drive it but he strongly encouraged I get a rental car, stating “a $200 rental car is still $600 less than what you could add to your repair costs”. Other shops I’ve been to would’ve 1000% told me it’s fine to drive, doing so would a) not put me in danger and b) likely drum up the bill. Win win for a mechanic. But everything daniel said or recommended indicated he was on my team and wanted to minimize this financial burden, super refreshing to feel like that at a repair shop. Side note - He’s fantastic at explaining the issues. He was even drawing me pictures to demonstrate
