I took my car to Woodie’s uptown for a brake job that was recommended by the dealership. After inspection, Daniel informed that my vehicle is not due for a brake job at this time and, in fact, can last another 20,000-25,000 miles. I’m very thankful for his transparency instead of charging me for a service that is currently unnecessary. For that reason, Woodie’s has earned my business for all future vehicle services instead of relying on the dealership’s recommendations. Thank you, Daniel!

Great people who treat you right and have reasonable prices!

Sadly, Woodie’s has fallen hard and fast in the past decade or so. Took my vehicle in to address a specific problem, which was not fixed despite me being assured it had been. The cherry on top was the $5k in unrelated repairs I “needed”. So to recap, $100 to NOT fix my issue and tell me I need to spend $5k to fix other “problems”. RIP to the Woodie’s I used to know. Fortunately, I have a few recommendations for reliable non-chain mechanics that I fully intend to use going forward.
