I have been taking my car to Woodie’s-Trolley Rd. for two years now. Billy and Riley that work in the office are awesome, they have been able to get me in for a last minute oil change appointment and always explain everything going on with my car. After moving here I was trying to find a place I could trust and I found them. They also offer a courtesy van service that’s very convenient.

Never have I written a bad review but if this helps even one person then it’s worth it. Called Woodie’s to get a quote because we knew exactly what we needed to be done. Was told we had to pay for a diagnostic because “that’s how we do things here”. The diagnostic with photos resulted in exactly what we said plus an “extra” needed coolant flush. I asked him about this and he said that my coolant was dirty/ contaminated and needed to be replaced. Funny story I had an oil change and a coolant flush the day before (watched the technician take out the old and put in the new fluid). I proceeded to tell the Woodie’s rep this and he immediately changed his story. “ well my technician doesn’t actually look at your car, he only goes off of the services you have had done here or at another Woodie’s location.” Woodie’s you took a photo of my clean fluid and wanted to charge me $216.51 to have the same procedure done the next day. One last thing to add -the day before, I got a synthetic blend oil change AND coolant flush for $170

Excellent service! Jim rescued us from another shop in SC. Had truck towed after the other shop failed to diagnose and repair after almost 3 weeks! They treated us very fair with the final bill! Excellent shop!

Overall pleasant experience. Courteous, Friendly, Knowledgeable office staff. Work performed promptly and completed quickly. Only one "hiccup", but it was handled in the same fashion. I had forgotten to ask about any military (retiree) discount offered, but when I did mention it, they had already figured it into the bill. Superb! I salute you.

Today i called Woodies because my car wouldn't start. I knew the problem was a blown fuse, but i didn't have any fuses with me and was having trouble identifying the fuse for the starter. Lawrence answered the phone. They had closed and he was in the process of closing up the shop. Since they are only a few blocks from where i was stuck, he offered to come by with a fuse and help me out. When he got there, he identified the fuse and replaced it. I offered to pay him for his time and going out of his way after hours. He refused. This just goes to show how great a garage Woodies is and a testament to the great people that work there. 5 starts to Lawrence. This is why i have been their customer for years.

Woodies is most definitely my preferred mechanic in charlotte. Not only is the experience always pleasant, but I always understand what I am paying for. The courtesy shuttle is one of my favorite aspects about using woodies. Excellent customer service is what they strive for and they exceed my expectations every time.

Had to get my car towed here. My belt snapped so I had to get a wholeee bunch of stuff fixed (also an older car) and they were honest and provided quick service- it only took them a day. My car is running and working amazingly. Staff were kind, knowledgeable, and helpful! This is now my auto body shop of choice and would recommend!!

The staff was very personable and efficient. The inspection took about thirty minutes. While waiting, my husband and I enjoyed coffee, water, and watching TV. This is definitely my go-to spot from now on.
