I was referred to Woodie's by a friend who works in the automotive industry. I told the manager that I was looking for an honest mechanic. I grew up around mechanics all around, and my father was also a mechanic. Rest assured they taught me to work on my own car. They being said, I'm not the "typical female" who doesn't know much about what's under the hood. Well, they must have thought that I was the "typical female". They said that I needed an oil change, but I'd had that done 3 days prior & there was a sticker on the windshield showing that. Of the laundry list of what they said needed to be done for $1700 (& this wasn't all that was needed according to them.) I have never been treated as a dumb blonde until I gave Woodie's a chance. I did ask that the manager call me, but this was last Saturday & it's a week later and I still haven't heard from him yet. I'm still waiting on that call a week later
