Ballantyne
⭐ 1 star I had a very frustrating experience at the Ballantyne Woodie’s location. I spoke with Mike and scheduled an appointment for a rack and pinion repair and power steering flush. I dropped my car off at 9 AM and was told it might take all day. Instead, it wasn’t ready until late the next afternoon. After pickup, I immediately noticed the car veering and called back. They said it was likely just a missed tire rotation and told me to return the next morning. When I did, I mentioned the worsening fluid leak. Pete said the pressure sensor was most likely issue and reminded me that they told me it required repairing. I called at 12:30 to check and was told my car hadn’t been touched. Pete also admitted a large amount of fluid leaked in their shop but said cleanup wasn’t included because I hadn’t paid for it. That made no sense to me. It gets worse—when I went to get in my car, there was a 12-16-inch crack in the windshield that was not there when I dropped it off. The staff seemed surprised and said the manager would contact me on Monday. He never did—I had to reach out myself. When I finally spoke with Eddie, I found him to be extremely dismissive, and blamed the crack on possible preexisting damage although my car was just in his shop the day before with pics showing there was absolutely no windshield damage. He refused to take responsibility and told me to file an insurance claim. The customer service here is seriously lacking. Communication was poor, the staff was unhelpful, and there was zero accountability. The only positive part of my experience was the polite shuttle drivers. I was also told my pressure sensor needed immediate attention, but since then, I’ve spotted no leaks in my parking garage at all. It felt like they were trying to pressure me into unnecessary repairs. I would not recommend this location to anyone.
Rita, we're sincerely sorry for what you went through. What you’ve described isn’t up to our standards, and we're working hard to address these issues internally. We never want customers to feel dismissed or have poor communication. Please know, your feedback is crucial in our journey to improve and serve better.
