*REVIEW CHANGED. SEE PS BELOW* This place USED TO BE GOOD, NO LONGER!!!! I have left 5 star reviews for them in the past, when they had a tech that owned the same NA Miata that I had, I had great service. Recently, I needed a new alternator. That was no problem. The problem started when I left them a car with absolutely no leaks from the radiator. NEVER A DROP ON MY GARAGE FLOOR. I always check my fluid levels. I received a call asking me if I knew my radiator was leaking? Of course not. But apparently NOW it was pouring out coolant all over the tech's head? Hmmmmmm. From no leak WHATSOEVER to a radiator that had a profuse leak? At this point, what could I say. I needed a new radiator? I'll never know. According to them I did, so I ok'd the replacement. $2,000.00 later, between the radiator and alternator, I get my car home and NOW, FOR THE FIRST TIME, I DO have a coolant leak, all over my garage floor!!!! I have to bring the car back now, AGAIN!! Oh, but it is not the radiator this time, it is the thermostat housing. So, I tell them it is ok obviously at this point to replace the thermostat and gasket. But now, OH NO!!! We cannot do that. We cannot unbolt the 2 bolts because apparently someone had, retapped the holes and put in oversized bolts and the tech cannot loosen them. He tried so hard but didn't want to break the bolts. Well I know that isn't true because, I REPLACED THE THERMOSTAT MYSELF 3 YEARS AGO AND THE BOLTS WERE ORIGINAL.They are large bolts and anyone who knew about the NA Miata would know they were original. He tried SO HARD but could not get them to open. So, I took the car home to try it myself. I had nothing to lose at this point but to do it myself again. When I got it home, not only did the bolts come loose, they were almost not tight enough. I called immediately and was told they would ask the tech and get back to me. They never did. There is no way they could have even attempted to open them, THAT is how easily they unscrewed. Now here is the reason why I have decided to write this extended review. I had to order a new thermostat and gasket so I obviously had to retighten the bolts until I received the parts. So, I ended up snapping off the head of one bolt myself!! My torque wrench was set properly so either the wrench setting wasn't accurate or the bolt was so old it could not take the specified torque. Whatever the reason, a job that they could have done, should have done, has now left me with a complete disaster on my hand. I should have never been put in the position of having to do it myself. I'll never know what actually went on with the car obviously, I only have the obvious suspicions, but I will NEVER return to Woodies, NEVER recommend them and will avoid now at all costs. I have gone from an almost flawless little classic, that has been well cared for and worth a nice buck, to a possible pile of junk that if I cannot fix myself, will require a hugely expensive repair. Thank you very much Woodies! PS RENEWED REVIEW!!! After reading the response from the the management at Woodie's to contact them for a possible resolution, I did just that. I spoke with the Manager of the center, Eddie. After carefully and very attentively listening to the history of what took place, he told me he would consult with ownership and see what they could do for me. WELL, WOODIE'S DID RESOLVE THIS!!! They replaced the thermostat housing at no cost for labor and which was no small job I might add (I paid for the part). They could have opted to attempt a cheap repair of the part but, they did not want to even try that, which I appreciated. The mark of a business that does right by their customers is one that does JUST what Woodie's did for me. Mistakes are bound to happen in any place of business but what they do to correct those problems when they do arise, says more about them then any positive review might say. They have restored my confidence in the shop and I gladly have reclassified this shop to a 5 STAR place to bring your car. Special Thanks to Eddie & The Team!!!

I had both my cars serviced the same day! Always friendly staff, Ryan is always very helpful and knowledgeable. I really appreciated the courtesy transportation, to my home to pick up my second car for service and the reverse in bringing my cars home. Always enjoy the conversations and life lessons with the driver. Highly recommend Woodies Ballantyne! J.Cureton

Beautiful so great staff they did a wonderful job. The pricing was too aggressive, and had my work done elsewhere, but it’s a first class facility. I hope the next time I have to get a quote that they’re more competitive.

I tried Woodie's on Ballantyne Commons for the first time last weekend after being a loyal Firestone customer for about 10 years. I had been having issues with my regular shop's customer service, and ended up walking out of a second Firestone a few weeks prior because the manager was so condescending when I was checking in for an appointment. I had a code read by Firestone who quoted me $2,700 to fix an O2 sensor and catalytic converter, and Woodie's did the same job for $1,750. I was a walk in and they were still able to get the job done same-day. The best part was the shuttle service that will take you home and pick you back up when your car is done -- if I knew about the shuttle service sooner, I'd have switched a long time ago! The shuttle driver was the sweetest man named Mr. Ed who was a pleasure to speak with and very friendly. I have had issues in the past with repair shops communicating throughout the process and I had no problem getting timely updates from Woodie's without having to follow up. I am moving close to this location soon and I'm glad to have found a new shop, I'll definitely be back and have already recommended to others. Thank you!

I scheduled an appointment for a State Insoection on Wednesday 8:30am. They called me back and asked if I could pick another day. I asked for that Friday 8:30 am. "No problem". I drop my car off at the appropriate time. These inspections are a 30 min affair normally. I haven't heard any by 11am, so I call and am told my vehicle is just now being looked at. Around 2pm I get an email detailing things that need to be fixed. I had to call the shop back to confirm repairs. I was told end of the day. End of the day I'm told first thing in the morning. They have been open for 2.5 hrs and still not done. If they were realistic with time estimates I wouldn't be mad, but the constant pushback is bullshit. They dont.
