This place is the least honest and most negligent auto shop you could go to. Replaced our battery 2 years ago, had to go back recently to get it warrantied out. They ran a second diagnostics test due to the check engine light still being on, then quoted us $2,145 to replace it, after paying 500 dollars for a warrantied battery, oil change, tire rotation, and the two diagnostics tests. Took it to another shop, who let us know that the part and labor that Woodies quoted us $2145 for is within warranty at the dealership and we already have an appointment to get it done. This is the second time we have taken our car elsewhere just to hear how they were trying to rip us off. First time, the part was not under any warranty, Woodies was just charging astronomical prices and we were able to get it done for much cheaper elsewhere. When we picked up our car from Woodies this time around, the fuse box cover was on the passenger seat and the passenger seat airbag was turned off, so that was lovely. They were also rude when expressing we wanted to take it elsewhere. The manager claimed my husband was cussing out the person on the other line, which is quite literally a lie. Yes he was frustrated and ended up hanging up because unless you are willing to spend thousands of dollars, no questions asked, they are RUDE. There was no "cussing out." Save your time and money...go elsewhere. If you question anything, they will be condescending and dismissive, and do the bare minimum when finishing up work that was started.

I have been going to Woodies Ballantyne for several years. This last experience sealed the deal that I will not be going back. I took my car in for some work Saturday 10/14. The work was allegedly completed mid week of the following week. When I went to pick it up the check engine light came on and they "discovered" another issue that was not found before. This new issue would cost an additional $400 ON TOP of the $1600 I had just spent but because of the inconvenience it was discounted. I also initially requested an inspection and when I went to renew the registration I received an error. I was told the registration was done but apparently it was not. I went to pick up the car again this week fully assured that the issues were now fixed. After turning the car on another light was on with a specific error code and yet another newly discovered issue. I have also been told that the registration won't go through because the car has to be driven some miles to reset itself. Why? They currently still have my car. I don't know if it's a lack of attention to detail or what. However, this is vey bad workmanship and a major inconvenience to keep going back and forth to their shop AND not having a vehicle. I have given them so much of my money in the years I have been going. They are high priced and always find something wrong with the car that costs $500+ Shame on me for continuing to go back, right? The best thing about this is the service advisor Kyle has been trying to work with me toward resolution. Again, once I get my car back never ever will I go to Woodies again. EDITED to add 11/11: I am still unhappy with service provided. The final time picking up the car 2 weeks ago the check engine light came back on and the car started over heating. I took it back last Friday and low and behold more money has to be spent as we were told that the whole engine needs to be replaced. Why wasn't this discovered at the VERY BEGINNING when the car was brought in? Even the second time that it was brought back? We were told that when the car was first brought in it went to a basic mechanic. Why when you were told that there were major issues? Why wait until the THIRD time the car was brought back to have a special mechanic look at it? If this issue was discovered in the beginning I would NOT have spent $1800 fixing it. What was done last should have been done first. I remain extremely disappointed in the service and workmanship.

This Center is a great place to take your car for any kind of repair or maintenance. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Most recently, I took my car to Woodie's for an oil change and tire rotation. They were able to get me in right away, and they had my car finished in less than an 4 hour. hey're always honest and upfront about the repairs that need to be done, and they never try to upsell me on unnecessary services Overall, Woodie's Auto Service & Repair Centers is a great place to take your car for any kind of repair or maintenance. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy auto repair shop. I highly recommend Woodie's Auto Service to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy auto repair shop.

The staff is friendly but my experience was frustrating, made an appointment a week in advance and thought id have my car back same day from what they initially said. They took approximately 3 days to get back to me with the repairs needed and gave me an extraordinarily high price. Going back and forth with them for awhile they eventually came down on the price when i threatened to take the car somewhere else. I am no car expert and not sure if the repairs they were suggesting were even needed since they were not upfront and honest on the initial pricing. The repair was completed professionally but this was a very expensive and most likely un-needed repair after talking with others when i received my vehicle back. I would advise on honest upfront and fair pricing and the entire experience would have been a lot better. Its not nice to try and take advantage of folks that may not be expert mechanics.

The worse- I feel like they did not take this service seriously. After paying $1400- I returned to my dealership

Save yourself money and go somewhere else. Outrageously priced compared to other local shops. Wish I would've did my research before taking it there. Was told there is a reason the company expanded so fast, at the expense of overcharging their customers, by another shop.

Very professional and I especially like the invoice that reviews what was done and any other repairs that may be needed
