Used woodies for the past year since moving to Charlotte and didn't have any issues. Got my car towed here (a different location than I usually go to) and was sent an outrageous quote. I knew something was off and sent the quote and pictures of the damage to a trusted mechanic from my hometown. They were appalled and told me not only was the quote still off for what they were doing but the damage was not near as bad as they were stating. I then asked for a quote to fix a small portion of what was wrong so that I could at least drive my car somewhere else to have it looked at and it was only $200 less than getting the whole plethora of other repairs done. I was fed up at this point and could tell they assumed I was woman that wouldn't second guess things or trust her gut, but I called the woodies on Tryon and they not only towed my car to them, gave me an HONEST quote, but also discounted the repair for what I dealt with. It was obvious that this location has had fishy stuff happen before. It's honestly just pathetic that you have to try to con people to make a living. Have the day you deserve woodies mechanics :)

Woodys man..... They have always been a favorite. From our fleet vehicles to some of my classic cars, I really trust them in every respect. They combine the small shop attention to the corporate fast service. Love these guys. Don't hesitate on them.

I called because they are close to my house and a neighbor said my tire was low. Ramey said to come by and he'd take a look. He checked all 4 tires and added air where needed. Also told me to keep an eye on the one that was low. NO CHARGE! This was a big help and a huge relief to this senior! I will definitely be back when I need other services!!

Woodie's Auto Service & Repair is the best! I recently had my Transmission fluid, Steering Wheel fluid, Engine Fuel Cleaning and Engine Oil Change getting ready for Winter. I had a 2005 Honda Accord LX. My old car always needs tender professional care. And I am so glad Woodie's Auto Service & Repairs is located in my neighborhood. Excellent work!

I have been using this location for two vehicles for most of 2023. First issue - they left out bolts in my front brake caliper replacement which left me in an emergency situation having to get this fixed while on the road because the caliper was banging into the wheel while I was driving out of town. Then on my wife’s car they tried to push extremely expensive fixes for something that could be addressed in a different way, like money should be no object. Fast forward a few months and I have a check engine light come on - they want to charge $119 just to tell me why the light is on. Give me a break guys, this place is no better than anywhere else despite what they say in their marketing. Might as well go to the dealer
