I had an oil leak and was unable to determine the cause and location of the leak. After some research I saw that Woodie’s had good reviews, so I opted to give them a call. I spoke to Matt and explained the issue. Matt was friendly and patient, allowing me to complete my explanation and thought process without interrupting. Which is surprisingly rare in customer service these days. Upon arrival at Woodie’s I was greeted by Jeff and Matt. Both were friendly and very easy to talk to. Matt explained the process of what they will go through to find the source of the leak. During the explanation, I remembered that my check engine light was on too. Side note: I noticed they had a clean waiting area for customers stocked with coffee K cups, soda, and bottles water. After identifying the issues(Engine oil cooler(Oil leak)and thermostat(check engine light), I received a call from Matt. He talked me through the issues, his recommendations, and the price to resolve the issues. I got the the feeling that Matt must been a mechanic before being a service advisor. He was extremely knowledgeable and did not appear to be just repeating what someone else said. I was able to get my vehicle repaired and back to normal in a day. I am happy with the customer service and quality of work i received from Woodie’s. As part of the work completed on my vehicle, I received a text of the 28 point vehicle inspection. Fortunately no immediate issues were found as part of the inspection but Matt and Johnny(manager) took the time explain what could be a priority to fix in the future; I didn’t feel any pressure to make any decisions at that time. I had a great experience and I will go back to Woodie’S in Matthews for my future car repairs.
