FIVE our of five stars!!! I picked up a car in concord to return to Iowa. Didn't make it through Charlotte. Had it towed to Woodies. The technician Al did an amazing job. Very knowledgeable and a truckload of experience. Doesn't matter how bad your day is going, Amy at the counter is an amazing customer service representative. There is another gentleman who works behind the counter who is also very attune to customer service. Can't remember his name. He saved me uber money by shuttling me to my motel. Yes, there was a lot to fix. The waiting room is very comfortable and I think I drank as much of their coffee as the bill was. The drive back to Iowa was mechanically uneventful. Traffic was another story. I HIGHLY recommend Woodies on Ashley Road for all your mechanical issues!!! Or just drop in for a cup of coffee and say Hi.

I recently blew a tire ( on a busy Friday eve). I called Woodies and received beyond excellent service. They were courteous, informative and offered options to best fit my needs. Johnny and Jeffrey both were professionals and made this frustrating situation so much smoother. The offer of courteous driving service back to my house was so appreciated. The assessment of my needs for the future was very helpful. All I can say, is I will most definitely return for future needs as they arise.

It actually makes me sad to post this review because I had been bringing my car to Woodies for the last year for all my car service and maintenance needs. Karl has always been very honest and professional. Unfortunately, I think they have some new staff that made my past experience horrible. I made an over the phone appointment a week in advance to get my back breaks done, oil change, tire rotation, and to fix 2 of my tire gauges that haven't been working properly. I dropped my car off at 8am and the guy working the front desk looked at me like I had 6 heads when I told him I made an appointment. He had to take down my information 3 times before he got it correct. I called them around 3pm and they told me they JUST got my car into the shop to work on. At 5:30pm they called me and told me I needed both sets of breaks replaced and it would be around $1200. I was upset because the appointment I made was to go on ahead and do the back breaks. I finally just told them I was going to get my vehicle and I wanted a quote for both sets of breaks. The guy on the phone told me $1200 and they couldn't give me a paper quote until I had my breaks checked?!?! Made absolutely no sense. I went to get my car and the guy in the shop also wouldn't give me a paper quote and told me it would be about $1,000... shady. I paid for my oil change and tire rotation (they had my car for 9 hours) and left. I got in my car and my tire sensors were still not working either. I will never go back, absolutely no point in making an appointment.
