This is a horrible place!I just wanted to change the oil, after I picked up the car, my car didn't work properly, which was fine before. So I brought the car back, they told me it's not their fault but they can fix it for $1500, never again!

I am writing to share severe mis-givings about this Woodie's location. They upcharged, attempted to upsell, and in my case did a poor job on the actual work-- an oil change... leaving an oil smell, exploding oil all over my engine bay and resulting in my husband having to clean it. I have been a customer of Woodie's in Charlotte for over a decade, using multiple locations for several vehicles I have had. On Dec 6, 2024, I took my 4-door sedan with roughly ~45K miles on it for an oil change at Woodie's in Uptown. It was easy to schedule and my husband dropped it off. They were done in couple of hours and called to tell me they found some "critical items" to the tune of $1546. It started with: replace wiper blades. They did send an itemized estimate when I requested it. Upon review, I declined. When my husband went to pick up the car he was shocked that we were charged $103 for an oil change (no tire rotation included). From that point on, I smelled oil each time I drove the car the next few days. Puzzled, my husband opened the hood to find the quarter-turn oil cap off, which sprayed oil all over the engine bay. I then received an email from Woodie's requesting a 5-star review. To which I replied with pictures of the mess and asked how Woodie's intended to resolve the issue. That was Dec 11. As of this writing, December 17, I have received no response from Woodie's. I am very disappointed with this experience, car-service and customer-service. (2-stars for convenience of location) Update: Jan 3 2025-- On the afternoon of Dec 31, this location called me. After phone tag, I ultimately spoke with Stuart today, who said they could not fix the oil on the sound-deafening carpet and probably gave some sort of apology. He then offered me $50 off of my next service over $100. TBD on if I will trust this location to "get my offer." I still have a botched oil change. Whole experience was bizarre and disheartening for Woodie's.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience at Woodie's Auto Service and Repair Centers! My service advisor, Mitchell, was fantastic. He kept me informed about the diagnosis through both phone and text, which I really appreciated. The price for replacing the front brakes and rotors on my 2003 Honda Accord was reasonable and comparable to other quotes I received. Mitchell also provided a clear timeline for the service, and I was able to pick up my car within 5 hours of drop-off, which was impressive! The location at 520 N. Tryon Street is super convenient for me, just a short walk to my office. I highly recommend Woodie's for anyone in need of reliable auto service!

NEVER COMING BACK HERE WASTED MY TIME AND THEY FORGOT TO FIX MY CAR. Brought my car in for a simple tire leak, I came in around 12pm they said there’s cars a head if me and should get around it by 2:30. Its 5pm and they called said bring it first thing in the morning. I brought back the next day at 8am, while I went to work. Came to check back 2 hours later still no news. Came back at 12:30 they said there’s a hole in the tire and needs to be replaced and I agrees and they said they should have it done by 2:30. I came back at 5pm and checked in with the front desk and he said my car was in “complete” status and then we checked and realized they forgot to change the tire!!! T I immediately left Don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Daniel and his team were a great help with auto work I needed done on my Mercedes Benz. About a year ago, I was charged over $600 at another shop only for an oil change. I really wanted to find somewhere that wouldn’t screw me over and I found Woodie’s and Daniel uptown. They did my oil change, air filter and new brake pads and I feel confident did not screw me over since I’m a female needing automotive help. Thanks Daniel and the Woodie’s team!

The staff and technicians are so professional and knowledgeable. The manager Stew is amazing. He made sure expectations were set and communicated everything that needed to be done with my vehicle was completed in a timely fashion.
