I was told my car could get fixed the same day as the appointment but it wasn’t able to be. They quoted 5 hours of labor and a total of 1700$ for a new AC compressor. I took it to Meineke and got it fixed same day, 2.5 hours of labor, for 850$.

I took my car here for a diagnostic and basically still had no answer when I picked my car up. They told me to get two things fixed and then get ANOTHER diagnostic and they may be able to give me a definitive answer. They said they couldn’t get it to start but I had AAA come give me a jump and it started right up. I will say that the employees are all wonderful people and they really treat their customers with kindness. I’m just very displeased with the service I received for my vehicle.

This is a solid place to take your car, as you have to realize they are in the business to make money but honestly. They are always up front on the overall costs and final cost along with answer all of my quesitons.

I am an out of towner who was looking for another option to repair a car in Charlotte besides using the Hyundai dealer. This Sonata Hyundai was part of the famous tik tok stealing cars challenge. I called Woodies based on their positive reviews on line. Their location was near to the stolen and returned (undriveable) damaged cars location. I found them to be professional and polite upon answering the phone each call and answering the barage of questions I threw at them. They came in at half the price of the dealer, did a great job, finished on time and at the same price as price quoted. All while dealing with an out of town client. Kudos to the team at Woodies McDowell Street. Thanks for going above and beyond!
