Had to get my car towed here. My belt snapped so I had to get a wholeee bunch of stuff fixed (also an older car) and they were honest and provided quick service- it only took them a day. My car is running and working amazingly. Staff were kind, knowledgeable, and helpful! This is now my auto body shop of choice and would recommend!!

They scammed me I called them and asked them if they work on range rovers they told me yes I bring it up there they charge me $174.49 for a diagnostic just tell me to they can’t work on it and to take it to Range Rover

A little more than I wanted to spend but took great care of me in and out same day even though I had some terrible and I mean terrible corrosion on my battery and what not. Would highly recommend Woodie’s to anyone who wants fast and detailed work done for their vehicle

I had a flat in 77. AAA came and put a spare on. My daughter looked up which Woodies could service us that day. They did it. Found out that I needed two new tires. They put them on and put my spare back just like new. Very courteous! Thank you Woodies!

I brought my car to this location due to an AC issue. I initially told them that I had my AC recharged a few times and it always leaks and runs hot within days. Their plan was to recharge the AC with dye to find the leak. One week later, the AC ran hot again so I brought it back for the 2nd time and they stated they could not see any dye. Their only solution was to recharge it yet again which only lasted another week and I’m still without cold air. I paid them hundreds of dollars for no fix. They failed at diagnosing or finding root cause of my AC leak.

I was visiting Charlotte for a convention any a “maintenance required “ display came up. Here i am far away from my home, knowing I had a long drive back on Sunday and no idea what was wrong and who to call. Well I found the perfect repair shop -WOODIES from the first call with Katie, then Theo their pickup man, and all the mechanics who checked out why the lights came on, to getting me back on the road I couldn’t have been more relieved, impressed and ready to give this glowing review . If you live in the Charlotte,NC area and need auto work you can’t do better than WOODIES 520 N Tryon Street

AVOID THIS LOCATION!! Extremely disappointed with the experience at Woodie’s Midtown. I brought my car in after being told over the phone the repair would cost “22.” That figure was repeated multiple times, maybe assuming they meant $220, and no one ever clarified it actually meant $2,247. At no point was I given a written estimate or breakdown before the work began. When I expressed concerns about the several miscommunications, I was met with complete disrespect and no accountability. The store manager, Rodney, was unprofessional, dismissive, and condescending on the phone. Rather than trying to understand the miscommunication, he doubled down and tried to make it seem like it was my fault for misinterpreting their intentionally vague communications. There was no transparency, no written confirmation, and no respect for the customer at any point in this process. Their handling of my complaint showed a total lack of integrity and accountability. I would strongly advise others to avoid this shop unless you’re okay with unclear pricing, misleading communication, and unprofessional customer service.

Very through and a pleasure to have my car serviced at this location. They also called to make sure I was satisfied with their work.

I am from out of town and my tire went flat on I-85. The people (Kyle in particular) at this business were very understanding and incredibly helpful. I had a new tire before 11AM the next day. I highly recommend!
