They took advantage of my elderly Dad. $1800 to mess up his car even more. He went in for a SIMPLE air hose leak and when he got his car back, on the way home the oil gauge was bouncing back and forth and the Check Engine light was on, it wasn’t on BEFORE he took the car to their shop. The car in all was completely fine besides the air hose leak. When my Dad went back to tell the employee (Edward) all of a sudden when they pulled his car back around and they “found” a wire pulled from the power source… they charged $400 to fix it. They charged him for services they didn’t even complete… and if my Father who is a mechanic could fix it himself he would’ve but again this is a perfect example of people taking advantage of the elderly. I assure you, I won’t let this go. I know this company has had a bad reputation as a whole but I NEVER thought they’d stupe so low!

It was great! Professional staff, quality care, and family owned. My husband was very impressed also. p.s. the waiting room was nice. You don't see that often at an auto care center. We would definitely come back.

I have had NOTHING but wonderful and great service from the guys on Ashley rd. I didn't realize how many repairs and minor issues my car had but they not only gave me straight-forward information but also helped me save money-imagine that! Oscar, the manager, is personable and knows his stuff, Woodies is very lucky to have this guy. I'm glad i accidentally went there because I was on my way to another auto shop and just happened to stop and ask a few quick questions and the guy made me feel like going anywhere else would be a waist of time, and thankfully so. I stayed, we built a relationship so now, I ONLY get my service from Woodies. The Ashley location is my favorite and I'll go out of my way to get my car inspected, serviced and maintenance as needed.

If you want the stereotypical dishonest mechanic experience, come here: 1. They gave me quote of $864 for a new radiator. I found that too high and told them I'll call after sometime when I've decided. I call after 3hrs, another guy picked up and told me they could not go lower than $1050. 2. It took them less than 30min for diagnostics but they charged me full price for an hour.

If you want to deal with friendly, honest, and knowledgeable mechanics, then come here. My elderly parents recently traveled to CLT and ended up with a flat tire. Took it to Woodie’s without hesitation. They unfortunately couldn’t patch the tire because it was a sidewall puncture, but they got my dad set up with his spare. They charged us an amazing price for the work done, and the fellas Tony and Johnny were beyond nice.
