Fort Mill at Doby's Bridge
Summary: The organization / communication for the Fort Mill location is awful. They closed for the day (they were only running diagnostics on my car) without returning my voicemails or letting me know anything about the status of my car. Had I not been able to get a ride there to pick up my car, which was still parked where I left it, I would have been stranded and missed work the next morning. Details: I made an appointment (Fort Mill location) and then dropped off my car for the shop to run diagnostics at 12:15pm. I was told on the phone the shop was too small for customers to wait for their cars, but there was space and it was setup like a "normal" waiting area. Anyhow, they had me take the shuttle (the driver was very nice). I called at 3:50pm to check on my car (was initially given a wait time of approximately 2 hours). There was no answer, so I left a voicemail. After no reply, I called at 5:45pm. Still no answer, so I decided to arrange to get a ride to the shop. Their web page and front door says they close at 7pm, and I needed to get my car back if they hadn't run the diagnostics yet. We got there by 6:15pm and they were closed. My car was, luckily in this case, where I had parked it. So I used my spare key and drove it home. I went to work the next morning (which I needed my car for) and still received no call. I went by the shop at 12:15pm and asked for my keys. Duane was apologetic for not getting to my car, but not for leaving me hanging with no information and no car. He said he noticed it was gone when they tried to run the diagnostics in the morning. But even that didn't trigger a phone call. And he confirmed that they close at 6pm, even though he said he knew the website and door say 7pm.
