Had a nail in my tire and just went to the closest place I could find. Glad it was Woodie's. Very nice place, pleasant and helpful people and they fixed my issue with our trying to upsell me to new tires.

Austin and his staff were great. They were able to fit me in next day for service, and when additional (unrelated) work was needed, they were able to fix it quickly and at a rate and cost that was ideal. Will be returning for my next needed service

I am an out of towner who was looking for another option to repair a car in Charlotte besides using the Hyundai dealer. This Sonata Hyundai was part of the famous tik tok stealing cars challenge. I called Woodies based on their positive reviews on line. Their location was near to the stolen and returned (undriveable) damaged cars location. I found them to be professional and polite upon answering the phone each call and answering the barage of questions I threw at them. They came in at half the price of the dealer, did a great job, finished on time and at the same price as price quoted. All while dealing with an out of town client. Kudos to the team at Woodies McDowell Street. Thanks for going above and beyond!

I feel the service was good, however, having asked for the tire pressures to be checked and the dashboard to be reset, and being told that was part of the service, I was disappointed that neither seems to have been done as both “lights” are still on..just needs follow through.

Karl gave the best customer service! He knew his stuff and was very trustworthy. He explained everything in detail of what was needed. I would highly recommend this shop before you use any local dealer especially any located on Statesville Road. Their prices are also lower and very fair.

As I mentioned to the staff, I have never had a better experience with an auto establishment. I was not ripped off or overcharge. I immediately had the friendliest shuttle driver take me back to my house and within 4 hours my services were complete and I was picked back up within 10 minutes and home with my car. Larry, Joe and Victoria provided the best service. The Establishment is very clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly professional and as I mentioned to my husband we will never use anywhere else. This place is definitely the best and if you've never used them definitely check them out. They have various locations.

I was disappointed with the service received by Woodies. I dropped my car off on Monday morning, I received no communication from them regarding when my car would be ready and what was wrong with it. I had to keep calling to get updates. We didn’t receive our car back until Tuesday the next day (a very simple fix that could have been done in a few hours) and again, they didn’t even call us when it was ready. After leaving and not even driving 10 miles, the same problem happened again. We were then told it would be a $740 fix. I took the car to another mechanic for a quote for the same work and was quoted $400 LESS. I found the people working the front desk incredibly rude. Overall, I recommend taking your business else where or at the very least getting a second quote. EDIT - after the car being reviewed by another mechanic, it didn’t need the work we were told it did. Waste of time and money. Changed to 1 star. Go elsewhere.
