I am new to the Charlotte area and I have had several bad experiences with Meineke since I have been here. I usually do all of the work myself on my vehicles and toys, but I currently have not had the time. I diagnosed that there was a bad VGR valve with the help of Meineke trying to screw me out of $600. I gave Woody's a call, and told them what needed to be replaced and I brought it by that night and it was done first thing in the morning. For 230$! The front desk worker could have been a little nicer, but they did what I needed to do so I applaud them and give Woody's 5 stars. Do not go to Meineke please...

I went to Woodie's on South Blvd. for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I was very happy with my experience and have decided to make Woodie's my regular mechanics. They looked the car over and said the issue I had been concerned about was very slight and not an issue that posed problems at this time. They noted another issue that might be of concern in the future but wasn't a problem yet and advised me to keep an eye on it, and made a slight adjustment to my brakes to save wear and tear but otherwise said everything looked good. How often do you go to a mechanic and have them not try to tell you 20 things are wrong with your car that need fixing immediately? And it was so convenient. The free shuttle took me to work downtown (I wasn't even late for work) and picked me up again when the car was ready later that day. How much more convenient does it get?

A spectacular business!!! I have never been treated so well and felt as comfortable in an auto service shop before. Duane and the others were very helpful and patient with my inquisitiveness ( a non-mechanics need to understand exactly the work to be done and why...). I will definitely go there again. And thanks guys for the excellent customer follow-up. I really like that I can access my "service history" and your other services on your website. I wish all customer service type businesses were more like yours. A+ in my book!

I was told that an appointment was not necessary for an inspection/oil change. I brought my car in first thing and it was ready to go just a few hours later. I work uptown, so I didn't pick it up until closer to 5:30pm, when I left work. I asked for just the inspection and oil change (told them what type of oil I wanted) and added that I wouldn't mind if they topped off the washer fluid. I asked them to call me if there were any issues or other items that needed attention and explicitly stated I didn't authorize any other work until I was consulted. They did exactly what I asked, didn't try to up-sell me or overcharge me or tell me XYZ needed to be replaced when it didn't. I'd happily take my car back.

My car broke down during rush hour on a Wednesday. I called Woodie's after reading reviews to have my car serviced. Randy called a towing company for me and let me know what needed to be done with my car the next morning, since it was nearly 5pm when I called. They handled all of my repairs needed, and when they had an issue with a part in the afternoon on Thursday, they ensured that I would have my car by 3pm on Friday. When my car was finished, Randy personally picked me up to bring me to my car, and then introduced me to the mechanic that did all of my repairs. Prices are very reasonable, especially for foreign cars, like my Honda. They handled everything very professionally and in a timely manner. I can't say enough good things about their team.
