I don't usually do this, but these guys absolutely deserve a 5 star public review - Woodie's on McDowell is hands down the best autoshop I have ever found. Bobby and the guys are honest and courteous, and the customer service is outstanding. I have always been extra suspicious and untrusting of autoshops in the past, so these guys are especially a breath of fresh air! If you live in Charlotte I don't know why you would take your car anywhere else - tell Bobby that Kristin K. sent you, and that more homemade cookies are also on the way ;)

Today I had to take my car in because the front bumper was falling apart. I had called them yesterday and they told me to just come in so they could take a look at it. The man I spoke with at the front desk came out and looked at my car, and told me exactly what was wrong with it. He then recommended I go to a body shop close by, where they helped me with my car situation. Normally I hate going to car places because my prior experiences have been sketchy. Yet, luckily everyone was super friendly and polite. : ) I'll definitely by returning to this location if I continue to have further issues with my car!

Everytime I go to Woodies, they do such a fantastic job! I always feel welcome and that they have my best interest in mind. If I have any questions, they are quick to answer and are always willing to go the extra step to make the process go smoothly, whether that be taking me and picking me up from work or cleaning my windshield of ice before I leave! Glad I found such a great service station right outside my door!

Went to have an issue checked out today and was impressed. The place is clean, the staff is friendly and they seem – gasp – honest. The other reviews are spot-on. They were kind enough to tell me my car was fine (and not charge me), so I won't hesitate to take my car back when it's time to fork over money.
