Customer clerk was chill and nice. Mechanics on deck are incompetent in business. Inspection could've translated into a grand in service work, loses the potential customer due to a slight tint. Never had any issues over the past four years at previous inspections with the tint.
I apologize for your less than perfect experience Autistronaut, when we perform the 28 point inspection we list each and everything the car would need to be considered perfect. From there your service advisor recommends what services are urgently needed and those that are not as urgent. When we perform our state inspections we use a device provided to us by the state to measure your tint. If your tint was too dark to pass that is what our machine determined. It does not benefit us in anyway to fail your vehicle for dark tint.
