I took my car in for the same service I've had in the past and they put in full synthetic oil and charged my $9.95 per quart of oil, the last oil change the oil cost $4.95 per quart for blended synthetic oil. They never called to let me know the air filter needed to be changed. In the past I would get a phone call to see if I wanted it replaced before they closed the hood. I feel like they just want me to reschedule so I have to pay labor costs again. It should take a couple minutes to replace an air filter and should be done at the same time the oil is being changed instead of having to go back. I felt totally ripped off. An oil change, tires rotated and an inspection cost my $177.00. The last time I was in it was $89.00 which didn't include an inspection so basically I paid $50 more this time for an oil change, ridiculous.

We just got our 21y.o.SUV back from Swift’s Garage on Start Engals Blvd. We had taken it there last week to get a headlight replaced. Their work was efficient, very good and very reasonable with the charges. We had been told we wouldn’t be able to get the headlight replaced bc it was a Suzuki and they didn’t have parts available in US. They got the right headlight and installed it the next day. So we took it back to the garage to have it evaluated for safety. We had been told that there was a part that one day would just go out and the vehicle would just quit running. We left our vehicle yesterday around noon. We got a call today at 9:15 am that they had driven the vehicle, looked under the hood and under the vehicle and inspected it completely. Not only were they again very efficient and thorough, they again were very surprisingly reasonable. And all the people we have dealt with were so nice and accommodating. This is one of the few places that we have experienced such great customer service. We believe that their honesty, their work ethic and their efficiency is remarkable. If you have a vehicle that needs some work done, you should at least call Swift’s Garage in Mt. Pleasant to see if they could help you. We have been very pleased with their work and I recommend them to anyone who is in need of a mechanical issue.

Can’t even make appointments correctly; walked in for an inspection after calling the day before and being told a drop-off time. Make it on time for my drop off and was told there was no appointment and had to come in another day. Waste of time

I would not recommend this mechanic shop, as they are not consistently responsive and they will be at around the bush with your car problems and not listen to the customer. I was up-charged 3 times in a row to not fix an issue with my car. I hadn't had it long, but they claimed to have the most state of the art equipment, software, and master mechanics qualified to work on my particular brand and model. But ultimately it caused me to sell the car 2 months after buying it. Overall, I have had bad experiences with 2 separate cars, and I would not take a complicated or problematic car to this shop, as they will ensure that it becomes a huge money pit for you with little regard for your pocketbook. Especially, do not take a German car or a high mileage car to them. They will overcharge you for diagnostics, maintenance, and will do nothing but put you on the back burner and beat around the bush. They did ok taillight work on my beater, but they butchered the extended diagnosis on my Audi. I wish I had read their Yelp reviews sooner. Be prepared to pay dealer prices or more, and expect to have to badger them until they look at your car. Young and conscientious car owners beware of being upsold and disregarded at every turn. They are reasonably nice people, though.

Best shop in the region. Always quick, affordable, and they got cute little complementary coffee mugs. 10/10

Had a puncture in my tire, even though they were booked solid, they asked me to bring it in and they replaced the tire that day! Appreciate the quick and friendly service!!

I was hopeful about this place because I'm a single woman without a support system who lives very close to this shop. Recently, I had a vehicle issue, which is always scary when it's just you in a city without solid public transportation systems. I had it jumped and drove it there, but was told I'd have to pay $50 for a diagnostics test. Red flag. There are so many places that do that for free. If I was someone who was obviously wealthy, sure. However, I'm not. But really it was the attitude I saw after I said I think I'll go to O Reilly to get it diagnosed and then come back for the work. I'm not an idiot so please don't treat me like one or give me an attitude for making the best decision for myself. Don't try to take advantage of me.
