I've switched over to Woody's from my previous mechanic. Yes, Woody's is slightly more expensive than Jed who's fixing cars out in his backyard, but Woody's takes care of me every time. They have always fixed my car on time. Sometimes, they can fix it immediately with no wait. The waiting rooms have wifi, tv, coffee, etc. It's much nicer than any waiting room I've ever seen at a mechanic shop. Staff is always friendly. They are good at explaining what needs to be done and what can wait. My previous mechanic was a worrier and always wanted me to get everything done immediately. Highly recommend if you are willing to play slightly more for a smooth, painless experience. There is one time in particular where I was actually surprised at how cheap the bill was. Not saying that happens every time, but I do appreciate that they keep the costs down when they can. As of this writing, there are two negative reviews for this location. I'm not saying that they didn't have a subpar experience, I just wanted to weigh in to say that I, personally, have never had a negative experience with Woody's. The only reason I didn't give them a five star review is that they can be more expensive than some other places. (Wouldn't we all love cheaper mechanic bills?)

We use Joe's Garage to maintain our 2007 GMC Yukon. We have been very satisfied with the work, the pricing, and the knowledge of the owner. When he makes a recommendation for service it is followed by a general statement of urgency meaning (needs to be done now, next time your in, down the road, or it just needs to be monitored) and we appreciate that feedback. We have no problem sending friends and family to Joe's Garage.

I have been using Joe for over 12 years. I'm a truckers daughter... my grandfather had over twenty 18 wheelers and 2 on site mechanic. I know a good mechanic when I see one. And you don't get cheep or great deals with good mechanics! Also, I'd rather my mechanic knew cars than how to charm people... They are not "Jiffy or Quick"... they are professionals.

No one likes going to the mechanic when their car is acting up. It's like going to the doctor when you have a mystery pain. You always expect horrible news and expensive bills. Woodie's made an unpleasant process extremely smooth and, dare I say, painless. My car decided to stop working one beautiful Sunday morning. A friend swung by to jump it and it still refused to budge. Fearing the worse (a bad alternator) I looked up mechanics in the area. This chain had good reviews and there was one around the corner, so I decided to give them a try. They were nice over the phone and just as nice in person. Even though I didn't have an appointment (and it was near closing time) they were able to fit me in. The waiting room in this place was surprisingly nice. Clean, comfortable, and it had free soda, coffee, and water. They found the problem (bad battery cable) and fixed it for a reasonable price. I didn't feel gouged by labor or parts costs. I hope I don't have to return to them anytime soon (just like the doctor's office), but if I do I feel very comfortable having them take care of the repairs.

I already have recommended to others. Everything about the experience was terrific. My problem had been an intermittent problem and they were able to locate immediately. These guys are great.

My car was repaired here after a major accident. They did an outstanding job on my car and connecting with the insurance company . I love the results and the costumer service. Recommended in Charlotte.

I work directly across the street from you at 525 N Tryon, and I love that I can count on Woodie's to be quick, honest, hardworking, friendly, and always willing to fit me in! Some auto shops don't treat people well if they don't drive a high end vehicle, but I am always given great, speedy, and polite service! I've trusted you guys for 3 years so far, and will continue to do so!
